The Headless Woman
This novel for youth (10-14) is loosely based on Bob’s life growing up in a small town. While young people enjoy reading about his adventures with a BB gun and how a church treads the fine line between fact and fiction when the carnival comes to town, adults will see references to many of the things they experienced in the 1950s.
If you remember when rock and roll was born or those first black and white television commercials, this book will speak to you. Young people also enjoy looking up the answers in the encyclopaedia or on the internet to some of the questions posed: i.e. Why are they called “Dixie Cups?”

Family History Workbook
This is the companion workbook for the seminar on writing your family history. It contains more than a hundred questions with pictures to help you write your life story in a way that future generations will want to read it.
Bob developed these questions after winning national awards for his radio documentaries. For an evening of nostalgia and laughs, have a group of 50 or more buy the workbook, and Bob will spend 90 minutes with you going through it telling you stories and showing you slides that will jog your memories.
